Walmart sells those bulbs in thier fish dept Moor. They sell them as "lily bulbs", but you can't be sure what type you will get. I've gotten some very nice ones myself.
Nearest Walmart to me doesn't sell fish .. and they only have 1 small aisle of pet supplies for dog and cat food.. Guess everywhere else they get the big ones.. here in the N.W. we don't *shrugs* .. the other walmart is hour and a half away, and the one time I ventured that far it did not have a big pet dept. either.
If you're going to do a 10, I would go with the Multis or the Similis....one male and 2 females with plenty of shells. Whale eye or escargot shells work great.
The Stappersi are a bit more aggressive and territorial, but I think you could probably do just one pair in a 10 if you have a male and a female. There would be plenty of room for each of them to stake out a bit of space...but no more than 2 stappersi in a 10 gallon...preferrably one of each sex.
About the pic....yeah, great shot that ! I took it at macro setting, right up against the glass. I have found that if you tip the camera at a certain angle, you can get some GREAT pics ! But it's not always the same angle all the time...funny, but it depends alot on the background and the lighting and such...I also turn off my flash. I tried taking a picture looking down, but, no good...then I tried that one at an up angle and As soon as I saw the preview I knew it was good, so took a few more.
Thanks for the comments MKML, glad you enjoyed it, and happy hunting for those shellies !!
