The FireMouths are in a 55g tank with a 3" Jaguar which is my uncles when he gets his 200g tank set up, and the baby EBJD's once they are big enough will go with my other "6 EBJD in his 55g tank. My 6" male EBJD is peaceful and only harasses the 4" Regular Dempsey female when she gets near his cave, otherwise he does his own thing, he only allows the Pleco and my 2 Corys near his cave.
My Male FireMouth is roughly 5", and I have had him for about 4 years now. The Female FireMouth is roughly 3"-4" and have had her just as long, they just spawned for the 3rd time in a month and a half, I got their water parameters just right in their 55g tank without using spawning aids.
As for having my hands full with my EBJD's, nah my baby ebjd's seem very healthy and are very active. They love the HBH Super Soft Pellets over anything else I feed them. My 6" EBJD is very healthy and active also. The only time any of my EBJD's aren't active is when I turn the tank lights off at night, they seem to calm down quite a bit and relax, but once I turn the lights in the tanks on, man they get so active right away.

Bubba's gorgeous, his colors are extremely bright. The red on him is so nice looking, along with the blue tint in the fins/tail.
The funny thing is when I first got him he was 1 1/2" and had absolutely no color to him while the other one's in the tank with him all had bright coloring. So I picked him since he was different from the others.
