i jus addopted 2 fish.....
1...1ft 6in snowflake eel
2...4-5in picasso trigger...

i have read that the picass isnt reef safe due to what it eats which is fine i have 2 tanks going and one has nothing but LR in it.

my question on these fish is...what is yalls experience with them? are they a pretty hardy fish? and right now he is housed with the snowflake and seem to gettin along but they will be comin to my house saturday morning and wonderin how they might ast towards each other in a new habitat? also will he be ok with my fuzzy dwarf lion? or should i leave the lion in the tank its in?

ive also read that the trigger eats inverts such as crabs, shrimp, etc etc and small fish....will ghost shrimp work as part ot its diet? feeder guppies? wondering on them since i have them on hand for my fuzzy dwarf lion.

thanks for any info yall have....

since the fish are new, I wouldn't mix them with your fish for a couple of months anyway. i think they all are competable, otherways it all depends on each individual. i could be wrong though, considering that in theory. also, feed veriety and make sure puffer gets food that would keep his teeth filed. i think feeding goast shrimp is also good for them all, but make sure it isn't the only thing you feed

I would quarantine them to be on the safe side before adding to your display. Picasso Triggers are probably one of the hardiest marine fish there is so no worries there. As to diet they will eat anything, shrimp are very good but as mentioned mix it up some. Any of the Formula frozen foods are excellent and readily eaten. I would avoid live feeder fish as this tends to increase their aggresiveness, frozen silversides are a good alternative. They are NOT reef safe at all. As to getting along, each fish will have its own personality so it is hard to say but generally the long fins of a Lionfish are very tempting to triggers and I have seen them go after the tail of an eel if it is waving around out of a rock.
