I was looking at glass diffusers/reactors for a DIY setup and came across this

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/S8-CO2-Diffu...rksid=p3286.m63.l1177&_trkparms=|293:1|294:50

I was about to put an order down until i read this "Compatible for pressurized Co2 tanks, but not yeast bottles." I was wondering what makes this different from other diffusers that can be used in DIY setups, is it the inbuilt reactor? Does a DIY setup not produce enough pressure to expel the gas through that sort of diffuser?

I believe with that type of diffuser, the DIY method won't work as it will need more pressure to push through. However, I use the ordinary glass diffusers on my setups and they work wonderfully. One thing I did have to do however, was to silicone around the tubes in the lids due to the pressure build up.
