That's how I am lately. Ever since looking at several goldfish photos from goldfish shows, forums, articles, etc, I can't make up my mind for the next goldfish to get.:screwy: The dazzling orandas? Fat and cute ranchus with large wens? Ryukins with elegant tails? I am really picky.

I dropped by two shops yesterday for some sightseeing. The selection is depressing even though there were globe eyes, ryukins, ranchus, albino telescopes, etc. None look like they would stand out well and I can't trust one shop with a long history for sick fish barely lasting a week.:yuck:

your talking about feeders are you not?..............LOL

Oh, Lupe! Such problems! Around my area, you get two choices-- "the orange one" or "the Moor"- LOL. I kid. You have lovely fish, and I'm sure that whatever you choose, it will be lucky to fall into the hands of someone who loves them so much and takes such good care of them!

get bristol shubunkins, then send me some,..lol

I am tempted to pull one ranchu from the store with an appalling history. It's healthy but I suspect it is an internal parasite carrier so I may need to set up another tank and quarantine it there with praziquantel.

I never had too much luck in that store. There is always a death when I buy from them unlike other stores. Will check hopefully later again and then another store.:goldfish:

Yeah! One vote for a black ranchu if you can get one. Prazi is cheap and works like a charm. That's my "dreamfish." The ones Kashta posted were just gorgeous.

Dixie! I am trying to find Bristol shubunkins but no one in my local forum has even owned a single one! I may need to post the picture to amaze them and hopefully, I can get the stock from them.:D

Forgot to add. Someone (owner of a petstore) with beautiful orandas doesn't ship live fish to other islands so he is out.:( I was looking forward to his approval so I can become an owner of a new oranda but no!:irked:

Keep lookin' Lupe. The hunt is part of the fun! Only 5 goldfishies have been purchased by yours truly in the past 2 years and two of them were Petsmart ones (shocker!). Of course a billion fish were seen to get those! I must post pics of them sometime. They are actually impressive!
