mm, make me hungry just looking at them pictures, lol

Good pics ! :)

heehee, I know what kind of fish I'm getting next:D

**** things never move tho, they just sit up in the corner of the tank wher you cant see unless you get on your hands and knees

I love my african butterfly fish. Even though it doesnt move much unless you feed it but it is alot of fun to feed. Despite what some other people think i really like the coloration on them because of the complexity of it, kind of like a molted pattern which would make sense since its an ambush predator so it has some camoflague. How often and how much do you feed it?

They can jump six feet vertically in the wild - how cool is that?

I love feeding mine whole baby krill - the heads poke out and legs go flying. Good stuff!

Definitely need a good fitting lid, low water current at the surface, and patience!

Uh, well, I feed my tank twice a day, and it munches on some flakes. Right now it's moth season, so if i catch a moth or two, i throw it in there. i feed it live food once about every 2-3 days.
but during winter, i guess i'll have to take lots of trips to petsmart.

the coloring is awesome. mine changes it a lot. he gets lighter when he's agitated, like if im planting or something. and yea, they do jump! it's amazing.

Hans, you ever watch it at night? they move around a lot. well, at least mine does.

Edit: they are awesome fish.. if any of you decide to get one, good luck!!
