They gold barbs are very peaceful. The only time they get more aggressive is at feeding time. The black ruby tiger barbs are more aggressive then the gold barbs. They are always chasing each other around although they never hurt each other. They flash their colors all the time. Normally they are black and white striped but when their chasing each other they get solid black with a red forehead and spin around in a little circle chasing each other.
