Wow, you built your own tank?? You are a true hobbyist. I want to build my own tank too. I think glueing the 5 pieces of glass into a rectangle is easy, but where or how do I get the matching top and bottom support frame piece or whatever you call them to hold them together?? You know what Im talkin about right? I've always wanted to build my own tank because it looks so easy and tanks cost so much.. Im just stuck at the part where to get the matching frame for it.. Your knowledge is greatly appreciated..

by far, you got the prettiest black belt I've ever seen. The color is just so intest and bright. I've always thought that black belts are like okay, but yours is real nice. If mine dont turn out like yours, I will have to give it up, cuz that was my plan anyway. I got it so it can keep my flowerhorn company until he grows up only. But if mine look like that in the future, I will keep it.
I have never really looked at black belts before. yours looks pretty good, but im confused, isn'tthe line supposed to face the other way?

I don't use the plastic frames that commercial tanks come with. Many people just use additional glass strips to brace the top together and use silicone to hold it. This works fine. On the other hand, my tank only has one pane of glass (the front) and the rest is made of a plywood box. There are similar builds all over the internet, but you have to know what you are doing.
