Pics of my channel cats.

It is cool. Only problem is you have to be sitting down to really see in the bottom one well. On the other hand, the gourami will swim to the front glass as soon as it sees you come towards the tank...so it's not that difficult to watch it.

I wish I had another 55 on the bottom. :D

It's not as easy as it was when it was on a stand, but I don't have a lot of room for tanks where I live. I still have about 10" of room to work with above the tank. It's not as bad as you would think. The hardest part to get to is the filter.

It was either put it under the 55 or rid of my gourami, and I'm not getting rid of that fish. It can't go in the 55 because the channels will eventually start going after it and before I got rid of my longear's it would try to attack them sometimes.

You should post some pics of you cats. I'd like to see that shovelnose and your future bumble bee. Wouldn't mind checking out those bichirs, too. I was going to get one of those, but the only store that could get them said it would cost like $35 to get one and they couldn't even tell me what kind it was.

Fairly slowly, it will take a couple of years for them to reach full size at 6-7 inches usually. just make sure they get enough food, they tend to hide, and only come out for certain treats.
