Hey guys,
Here are two pics that i took of my half-beak fish. Does anyone else have one? I've had mine for 1.5 years now. Grew from about 1.5 to 2 inches. He seems to be extremely hardy, does not bother anyone (hardly ever leaves the surface unless scared) and never gets picked on, and my impression is that he barely pollutes. He looks a little bit like a baby barracuda. When I drop pellets, he's typically the first to eat them (the top part of his mouth opens 90 degrees and he shoves a pellet that can still be seen in his throat after he swallowed it!). I guess I am a little surprised that this fish is not more popular in the hobby given the easy to take care of him and the minimal space he takes up in an aquarium...
