at that age he should be fully grown if you going to keep him in that tank tank 2/3rds of the gravel out theirs to much in their but a very nice fish
 
That is a very nice Midas! thats an amphilophus citrinellus :cool:
he has a great shaer to him keep it up!

BTW: I keep a single adult male in a 90gallon tank. He finds that to be to small, but I tell him thats All hes gettin' :p

get the gravel out soon he will be alot happier as long as he can turn around with ease their no rush for tank but his size is still to small for the age what do you feed him? and has that been his only tank?
 
i was basically guesstimating with the length. and i was not including his tail fin. including the tail fin i would say he is closer to 11 - 11.5 inches. i feed floating food sticks from tetra min. and yup- thats been his only tank.
