He's very pretty. I had a crowntail that looked very similar, only I named him L'il Jerry because he looked tie-dyed to me. :)

I take it you were able to find a new heater that suits your needs... mind if I ask which one? :)

Thanks everyone...didn't get a new heater yet am in the process but I am keeping a very close watch on the tanks when I put them on and just in case when I go downstairs to watch tv I am bringing my cell phone set to an alarm so that if I do nod off it will go off and wake me up. I work 10 hr days so am pretty tired when I come home right after dinner I am pretty much done. Yeah am happy with this new betta he was a little timid but I keep showing my face up to the tank and little by little he is starting to realize hey her again that's the chick that feeds me lol and he swims up to great me fins flapping. I do miss Ben but realize what happenned was an accident learned from it so it never happens again. Will post again once I decide and get the new heater and will post a pic of it. Yeah Spumoni just fit him my hubby saw him thought the colors matched spumoni ice cream his fins are actually lavendar, pink and turquoise and his body is whitish. He is a cutie.
 
nice fishy!! i love the colour combination. i've never see one with those colours all together before. (:
 
drs foster and smith are having a heater sale right now!!!! i would recommend a stealth!!
