Hi all-

Figured I'd share some pics of my 46 gallon bowfront.. I set this tank up about a month ago. .Mind you it was a tank transfer so it was NOT a fresh setup... :) So far things are moving along nicely.. Just got over diatom... It was NASTY!!!!! Now I get green dust algae on the glass that I have to scrape twice a day... But other than that.. Its ok...

Notice in the distance past the clown and anenome, the serpant star under the rockwork.. He is soo cool, but comes out rarely...Arggg

Very nice!! I'm a bowfront fan myself but mine's a 36. Did you make those doughnut shaped rocks yourself???

I am still in the building phase of my SW tank, but seeing yours really lets me see through the frustrations and appreciate the reward. Good job, your tank looks awesome!

Looks good.......wish my tank looked like that..water is always getting cloudy....

Thanks guys-

First question. No I didn't drill the holes in the rocks.. I bought them like that.. They are Dead LR.. Soon to be live I hope... As for the camel shrimp.. Ya know I hear stories and I guess its hit and miss? My camels are doing GREAT!!! They mind thier business and leave everything alone.. They are very skitish and mostly stay in the rear of the tank...TIll dark that is... Then they come out to move around.. But mostly herd together and hide.. The coral beauty, I was told to watch out for.. But she or he is doing GREAT.. Grazes on hair algae and leaves all the coral alone.. I had a butterfly and he picked at my xenia and polyps like mad.. Well not shortly after I caught it, it went BYE BYE!!!!!

Thanks for the compliments... I aprpeciate them... Now I need to stock up on coral to really get it going!! LOL
