Picture Editing

Alright,
Here's another try. It seems a couple of us are having fun tweaking this picture!

I enlarged the pic, increased brightness/contrast, ran a median filter (1pixel), unsharp mask 3 times, color correction (auto), then finally resized to original size.

I'm outta tricks!

Wow, you guys are pic editing pros! Most of what you guys are saying is a foreign language to me lol. The camera is a Samsung - I think it's the cheapest model they make, which is a bit of a handicap I suppose.

That last one that you posted looks incredible tyella, considering what it started out like. I might try to make that into an avatar - how would I go about doing that?

Thanks for the help! It probably would have taken me a year to make it look that good, if I could do it at all!

Aqualung,
If you have an image editing software, just crop the section you like. Then resize the image to (I think) no larger than 310 pixels (double check that in the control panel area). Be sure to keep the "aspect ratio". That means that the ratio of length to width will be adjusted on the fly by the image editing software. Then save the file as a "gif" and upload it from the control panel.
Hope that helps,
Tyella
