Now NatakuTseng got me to wonder that mine may even be male instead.
This is another picture of my "female":
and here my male, in the same tank, under same lighting condition:
if my female turns out to be a male, it could be another specie (or subspecie) since the colors have been very consistent on these 2 fishes, and they're so different. Also, at the time I got my female, the LFS had a bunch of similar ones, all with huge belly...
