the rest of the photos I put up are on the photo site herehttp://www.aquaticphotos.com/

hmm that put the links in not the pictures

 ?????? and I can't just copy and past the pictures in to the body of this hmm

help anyone?

You have to use the IMG button and paste the hyperlink to your picture file in there. Basically, it puts the IMG meta tags in the string for you. Then it will load up the pictures in your post.

thanks, I have an attic apartment and I can see the tank as I am comming up the stairs and he always comes to greet me when I come home from work or after I have just been out for a bit... and his antics from time to time trying to get my attention have been priceless

he is the closest I could find in quality to what is available at angelsplus.com here locally and even he doesn't have all straight fins... most of what is available have twisted and deformed fins so I got lucky with him

on the picture posting thing I used the img button to put exactly what shows... I go in to eddit and it has the img thingys around it but doesn't show the pictures in the post like I think it should:confused:

OK, I know what you are doing wrong. You are linking to the HTML page instead of the image file. Right click on the image and use the "copy image location" shortcut to link your image. You should see the *.jpg extension at the end of your link. I'm using Mozilla right now so I'm not sure if IE has this option, but I believe it does.

got to find how to turn the option on if it can be used in ie... a quick search didn't turn up anything obvious so for now that is as good as I can do:o  well still don't have a right click short way of doing it but I found the link like you were saying it would be and coppied that in and that worked

Yea in IE you can't copy the shorcut of a picture (well at least I can't). There is an option but it is greyed out and can't select it.

All you need to do is right click and go to properties. The link for the pic is there and I'm assuming you figured it out that way.
