I just want to make sure that these get seen. I am so worried about my poor loach

What size tank is he in? What are the params? How many fish are in with him and what kinds arein with him? How long has the tank been set up?

Are any of th others showing any symptoms?

Does he look to you like he has a fine coating of dust on his body? It looks like it to me, from the pics and video.

Yeah. He looks like he's coated in dust with tiny little white spots. I didn't check the parameters. I should, I know but I know that they will be ok.
the tank is 72 gallons. It's been running for 9 years. I put two little rainbows in there that I should have quaranteened but I didn't because I was lazy. within in a day they had ich. I used mardal (malachite green) for 3 days then did a 50% water change. After that the loach started showing signs of ich. Now I have added some salt. I'd say about a tsp for every 5 gallons and the heat is up to 86. during the start of my treatment the original heater broke. the tank got kind of cold. I didn't realize it until I was doing another 30% water change yesterday. I'm sure that didn't help any.

I think he has oodinium, also called Velvet. Oodinium is a flagellate parasite and you need to treat the whole tank.

There's a product called AquaZole, by Seachem that is excellent, or if you can't find that the most expedient thing may be to get Jungle Labs Parasite Clear, which is usually very easy to find at Walmart or Target. You need to get on this ASAP.

What is the dosage of salt in the tank? Salt is helping him a bit right now, but he is in desperate need of treatment to get rid of the parasite. I don't think this is Ich, as Ich has larger specks that look like grains of salt. Velvet is more like a dusting of flour.

I have been adding it gradually so there is about 1 tsp per maybe 3 gallons. I'm dissolving it in water and adding it as it dissolves. I'm going to sneak out of work here in a bit and go to the lfs and then at lunch time I can swing home and treat him. No other fish look sick in the tank btw.
