I just purchased a pictus catfish about 4 days ago and he seems to be doing fine and healthy. The only problem is that when I turn the light on, he comes to the from of the tank and swims with his stomach against the glass in the same spot. When I turn the light off, he goes on to normal business. I know that pictus are a little afraid of the light, but I have many artificial plants in the tank along with a woodlike structure where there is plenty of space you can go underneath where it's more dim. Why wouldn't he use that when the lights are on and does anyone know what's the problem?

I didn't even realize there was a "catfish and bottom feeder" section. Maybe this should be moved.......?

He is brand new, well from the LFS. He is with 2 angels, a tiger barb and a black finned tetra.

Yeah, I know. I'm planning on getting some more very shortly. Any other thoughts about the pictus?
