Pictus Catfish surprise

I just fed my fish. I give my pleco an algae wafer a day, sometimes two.

I dropped in some food and then dropped the wafer like I always do right before I turn off their light.

To my surprise my pictus catfish darts out and swallows it WHOLE.

Now I wonder if he is stealing it every night. I dropped another one in and made sure the pleco got it.

What a shock!

Sautee some onions and leeks, whilst making up a cheese sauce from milk flour and cheese.

Whilst this is happening, remove the head, tail, and fins, before slicing steaks from the fish.

I can't tell you what the next part is or it would ruin the surprise, but once it's done, add all the ingedients to one pan and cook on a low heat for 90 minutes

et voila - Pim Pictus Surprise. Goes well with a fruity red!
