Can pictus cats be kept with any other types of bottom dwelling fish? (i.e. corys or clown loaches?)

45 gal, group of 9 mixed tiger barbs... I dont want a whole bunch of bottom fish, but something interesting and a few different kinds. I love the looks of picus cats (are there any other fish out there that are similar looking to them?)... Also, what about spotted raphaels? Are they agressive, need to be kept in groups. (can a few pictus cats, and a few of these get along?)

The problem is pictus need space. I am sure your tiger barbs will rip their whiskers. Spooted raphaels aren't aggressive. You can keep one if you like but they spend most of their time hiding just like most doradids.

The pictus will want it's own cave and will shove fish out of it. Otherwise, it will leave them alone. He may share with the loaches, but not the cory cats. They'll learn to leave his area alone.

I had my pictus for six years with barbs and had zero problems.
