First off I have a 150 gallon tank that has very few fish in it(just getting started) I have 3 pictus cats and they all seem healthy. but one of the pictus just swims up and down in the corner all day long, he will stop to eat but then right back to the corner. None of the other cats are doing it so if you have any ideas about why he is doing it i would like to know thanks

Provided your water quality is good, I think he is just scoping out the tank. How long have they all been in there? Any significant size difference between the three?

the water quality is fine and he has been in there for about 4 to 5 weeks. He is always in that same corner so i doubt that he is just checking out the tank but who knows for sure
thanks for all you help

I have had pictus that enjoyed swimming up and down the corner of the tank.
I think they enjoy the exercise why they pick a particular corner is beyond me.
I have also seen the same behavior in bumblebee cats but only after lights out.

My two pictus have done this since the day I got them appears to be normal for them....
My Id Sharks also do it...... I wondered if it was a reflection thing.....

I have had pictus cats that have done that same sort of behavior from day one while the others do not. I think it could be a reflexion thing and they become fixated on it for one reason or another. Why they pick only one corner of the tank to do this, that I could not tell you. It does not mean they are not healthy or that anything is wrong with him. He just has an obsession possibly with himself if it is a reflexion thing. Mine did this for years really and he was fine.
