Pike cichlids?

oh ok thats all i have in my tank one pike one oscar the oscar is 2 1/2 inches the pike is about 4. and i know eventually i will have to get a bigger tank. But thats what i have for now also my oscar wont eat fish or fish food all he like is those tinny shrimp...

If you don't know what pike it is how the heck can you guesstimate the size it will get to, or how it will behave. I had my dwarf in with my discus, and frankly it never did much though I liked it a lot.
Putting one of the bigger pikes in a 55 is just plain silly. It won't do a thing, the size of the tank will stress it too much.
If you want to keep big predators get a big tank

no the pike isnt that big! he isnt much bigger than the oscar...i just dont want him to be stressed out and what not, i have 3 small fishin the tank do you think that he should have eaten them by now? well see this weekend.i have a couple plants in the tank now and a hollowed out stump that he likes. is this good?
