I have 3 and I bought them when they were fairly small. they are still small but they are growing so quickly and they have such massive appitites. Ive heard different things from evryone and does anyone know how big they will probably get in a 55 gallon tank? i cant belive how fast they are growing.

Depends which ones they are. Many pimelodids get very large. If they're the most common 'pictus' cats, then you're probably looking at fish that will probably grow to around 5-6", and enjoys a goodly amount of swimming space.
