One of my julii cories has a pink hue on the body. The head has a darker pink hue. I don't know if he was like that or if it's a recent development. He is doing well and the water parameter is perfect (NH3=0, NO2=0, NO3=5, pH=7.2, temp=75). Other julii's don't have that kind of hue. What is it?

My female sterbais and panda kinda have that. A bit like a female ram. Blush around the belly and a touch of pink towards the sides of the head.
Possibly :y220d: The males are smaller with much crisper coloring, although mainly due to no blush spots, the markings are all pretty much the same as far as color intensity.
One of my 5 Julii's has a darker head coloration and a pinkish body hue.This fish keeps to itself and actively joins the group only during feeding time. Chrisk-K your advice to my post regarding my high nitrite problem apparently resolved the issue. The ongoing 50% WC two times a day was getting to me and I was about to give the fish back to the LFS in order to eliminate their and my stress. friday morning i added the seachem stabilityand also during Several WC. this morning i tested and detected 0 ammo 0 nitrites. i tested 5hrs later and achieved the same readings,:thm:so cautiously back on track. i do not have much faith in the bio stuff in the bottle but this stuff made me a believer, Thanks Chrisk-K
I've used Seachem Stability for my original cycle a while back, and when I added mostly established material but not enough to fully cycled the newer 15 gallon, it punched it right through to fully cycled in no time-that stuff works fantastic. But if you think Prime stinks...cripes Stability is awful.
