pink tip anemone Please help!!

My pink tip anemone, suddenly formed into a hard white ball, did it die? its still clining to the side of my tank.

I've killed my fair share of anemones. If it is a puffy ball, its changing water. It being still stuck to the glass is a good thing. My experience is that you will know when its gone by two things. It snots a lot of slime and looks like a cotton ball and the biggest, it stinks!
