Pink tip anemone Please help!!

My pink tip anemone, suddenly formed into a hard white ball, did it die? its still clining to the side of my tank.

How long have you had it and have you witnessed this behavior before? Generally Anemones will close up at night, when threatened, or potentially after feeding. However, I would still test your water parameters. If he stays like that for more than a day I would start to wonder what might be wrong.

I have a sebae and a green BTA, and they will do this periodically (every month or 2). It is their way of expelling waste. As RothChyld said, if it stays this way for more than a day, there may be a problem with your water quality. Also, if it starts doing this frequently, it indicates there might be a problem with your water quality.
