IS there a such thing as a small piranha? Or a fish that fits in a 10 gal tank that will eat others like a piranha?

No, there isnt a piranha that will fit in a 10 gallon for life. The minium tank for the smaller species of piranha is 75 gallons. As for something that eats fish like them a puffer or maybe some exodens although im not positive on how big the tank needs to be for exodens.

Actually, there are quite a few serras that would be able to live for life in a tank smaller than a 75g. irritan, eigenmanni and sanchezi to name a few for 55g. That's besides the point of none for a ten gallon which is true.

maybe buenos aires tet's. although you won't see them eating other fish, they atack fish food just as agressively as a pirahna would a fish IME (although I have no expierence with piranhas).
