I think your nasty. I know what happens in the wild but, still thats rough. That poor gold fish. Couldn't you go to the store and get a dead cat fish or rainbow trout at the store then just throw it in and let them tear it apart?

Piranha do not have to be hungry to eat something , its once a day like
any other fish , They need to eat .

i couldn't do that, i'd get (as i used to when i had pirahnas) small suckers that one bite out of them and an almost instantaneous death, not much suffering there but this is life and fish get eaten every second....if it's really quick it ok to me, but to watch even a stinkin goldfish suffer like that bothers me, i couldn't watch it.

piranha are hardly that mean of killers, they got such a bad name, ive kept alot of killers, even my puffer is more mean the any piranha i have, it bites fish in half for fun.

and yeah it happens in nature. but its not like we do this all the time, any piranha or monster fish keeper knows that feeders arent healthy staple.

Theres no sense in buying goldfish that big, its just ignorant, when people HAVE THE CHOICE to buy goldfish that big, or smaller ones they can fit in their mouth once they get it, people like you choose the larger ones that have to get ripped up before they die for your entertainment. When I give mine goldfish they get it and it fits completely in their mouths so theres no ripping apart for me to laugh about, because obviously its entertaining to some people.

My black pirahna is about 5-6 inches now If I get him small feeders It takes him forever to catch them. So the they are being terrorized all week. If they make it 4 or 5 days I usually put them in my pond. I figure If they make it that long they deserve another chance?? He also eats chicken livers
