Pit Bull rant


You can have yours, I will have mine. Don't call me an idiot just becasue you disagree.... you could be called close minded because you can't hear a diff opinion. I like all the diff viewpoints here... I just don't agree with them all, but that's ok.

I think they were saying the owners with thier dog off leash were idiots, not you. Pits are like guns. You can kill someone with a gun, but I know many who own guns who have not killed anyone. You can also kill someone with a fork, I also know many people who own forks that have not killed anyone.

A-men to that. I made a post on a another site, it had 15 photos and all were of dogs that are more ofetent han not, considered a pit. This included Rotties, Staffies, bull terriers, Cane Corsos, Dog D`argentinos and a few other breeds, only ONE photo of a true Pit Bull. Take a wild guess at how many out of 100 people that made a guess got it right! ONE, ONE person was able to pick the true Pit bull out of the crowd. That is pretty sad, considereing if they see an aggressive dog and it looks anything like a Pit they instantly claim it is one. Not saying htis is necessarily what happened in this case but still.

That list was amazing Labont..... I'm actually shocked that even that one person got it right and I'm sure it was a guess! AND who knows if this person didn't keep coming back to guess at it.... you never know, all I do know for sure is I thought I could definitely tell the difference and I couldn't.... as a matter of fact, my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th answers weren't even right. It's sad though that these dogs are all compiled into one, and made such a highly debatable subject... unfortunately, a lot of it negative.... I also agree with the statement made that when they begin to ban a certain breed, it opens the doors to the next feared dog... and the next, the next, the next.... until we find ourselves with 1 or 2 breeds to choose from.....

Yeah your thinking of the post that, umm I dont remember who posted in the other pit bull discussion, right? yeah I made one of my own for another web site forum. It was similar to this one but more dogs and a few more breeds.
I would like a few of you to try and pick the Pit Bull outta this pick, there is only one.

Sally, sorry to clutter up your rant with PRO-PIT talk, but I wonder what your post would have been titled if a lab, poodle or another min-pin were to attack your dog.

Oh right right you said second from the left. Well I will not say if you are wrong or right yet. I want to see some more anwsers form some others first. I gotta take off to work so I will come on here and check it out and post the right answer when I get home. have fun folks.
