Ambulls are another breed I'd love to own. There was a huge male at our SPCA that was nearly euthanized for guarding his cage, until I pointed out that that is very Ambullish, and sent them a few breed info pages.
He was a sweetheart once out of his territory.
Thanks everyone... Miss Tink knows she's a cutie. She is such a show off, too, if we're talking with a new person she does every trick she knows to get attention.
wow.. look at those vicious dogs. i'm now scared for my life knowing one might even be in my neighborhood.
From an owner of pits for 15 years it is SOOO GREAT for me to see these threads. It brings a tear to my eye to see this breed coming back from its bad reputation.

As a former kennel worker, I think I can safely say that is the worst dog combo in the world! That's like giving a linebacker speed and ex-lax. haha just kidding!
I used to see all kinds of mixes there but I don't think that was one of them. We used to try to socialize the pit bulls that were either abandoned there or were Hurricane Katrina adoptions. It usually didn't work out too well but with dogs coming in and out so often it was tough so I was the one that was always willing to go out and play with those playful muscles with legs. I used to tell people that I get paid to play with puppies all day!
Aww, I love boxers, but the whole cancer thing has me scared to death. Everything I've read or heard says they are more prone to cancer than any other breed. Though I'm sure I will own some one day.
