I've seen it done with catfish as well as cichlids lately. I don't have any examples right now (being lazy). I'll point it out next time I come across one.

I think that shortly after he called to himself the attention of all the pleco demons of the world, he was messily devoured and never heard from again until many years later when the demons had need of a mortal host to spread rumors on this forum.
