Planning 20 gallon tank. Cory-only?

Also, i am a bit concerned about algae! If i won't have any algae-eating fishes in aquarium, will it be ok? Because as far as i know bronze corys do not eat algae. I just dont want to have too much of algae stuff :)

My cories (Corydoras julii) ate algae, at least the brown ones. They were checking on all my plants. Now the otos and the bristlenose eat all the tasty algae first, and the cories have moved mostly to the ground ;). My cories also like to lie on the leaves of broad-leafed plants like amazon swords or crypts, which means that they are not only active on the ground.

They are not really convincing as algae eaters, though. You can always add a few otos, if you think you need them. Normally, if light and nutrients are balanced, algae shouldn't be too much of a problem in the aquarium after the initial bloom. You just have to clean the glass ;).
