you can use a regular fish tank for these??? the gravity doesnt collapse the bottom/ top out? they have to be removed in winteR?? Bea is very curious...

Ive seen tanks used, but Im assuming the globes are sturdier.

i would think if they were made for it, they would be sturdier...what about a regular circular fish bowl? Do they have to be taken out in winter [ohioian here]

I would think remove. If the tank or globe did break, cleaning clear glass shards off the bottom (liners) would not be fun. I would also think any fishtank would be able handle the pressure. A nice acrylic jobber maybe...
