Being ex-British Commonwealth I'm %@$# that I have to be at work today, but not as &#%$ that I was at work yesterday. It's ok though ... I've been surfing online most of he day and done precious little work.

it's a holiday in most countries in the british commonwealth. Canada, Australia, I think India even celebrates it, too.

Yes, but not a statutory (paid day off) holiday in Canada.
