Plant-eating snail?

My "trapdoor" snail seems to have fallen in love with my java moss. Could he be eating it? I hope not. I had planned to use that clump of moss for baby rcs to hide in.

Its most likely eating things stuck in the moss, being it food, algae, or biofilm.

Or he/she could be a weedophile... In that case you need to check it's shell for young weed pictures in not so good lighting if you know what I mean... look under the flap they almost always hide the pictures there, then get that snail into counseling although once a weedophile always a weedophile.
