No it's regular Wisteria but it's immersed growth. Those leaves will slowly die and the submerged form will grow in. Eventually it'll look like what you're used to.

its neat when it "dies" the leaves break off and float at the top and grow wider and let the little roots hang down. and a top water current makes em a wistera ball. its cool dont worry.
