This is my 30g.
I started it up for snails for my brothers dwarf puffers.
Which gave myself an excuse to try to grow plants.
And now, looking fwd to some Cherry Shrimp.

Left to right...

1. Sword - N/A anymore.
2. Ludwigia?
3. An IDK? [Best growing (more pics below of its changes)]
4. An IDK? (Seems happy - grew bigger leaves, and slightly up)

3. again
Getting larger leaves, and sharper edges.

3 and 4 after some trimming and replanting this weekend.
(most of the tops trimmed from 3 are on the right in this pic.
3's leaves getting sharper by the day.
Also 3's stems were real strong when new. Most likely grown above water before?
I haven't touched #4 sense planted 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Thanks for any help with'em.

3 would be Hygrophila difformis, it is sometimes called water wisteria I think.

4 is possibly another Hygrophila

Looks like a ludwigia, hygro difformis and another type of hygro....maybe siamensis?

Thanks for the scientific names. I was able to search for them specifically that way.

I was liking the leaves on #3 starting to look like wisteria. Which is what I was wanting from the start. But the only ones I thought I'd seen to buy, were at petsmart. And in the "snail-free" tubes.
My main reason for buying plants at the time, was to get the hitch hicking snails.
So now I have the wisteria I was wanting, and snails! :)

Looks like #4 is probably Hygrophila siamensis or corymbos?

Java Moss - just picked it up the other day. I'm going to make a cherry shrimp home out if it, some how.
Cabomba whatever - was going for hitch hickers. ;)
money wart stuff - bro, gave it to me.
2 snails, about to make their debut in the "Freshwater Invertebrates" thread. :)

Thanks again, for the clues!
Now I have one. ;)
