K so - I am fairly new to the whole planted tank thing. I had a beautiful planted tank that I didn't really understand about 2 years ago, but I moved to Boise and all the plants died -- haven't really gotten back into it. I am starting to now, but need to understand wth I am doing... working on that... so I was at a LFS store today, found this plant:

They had no clue what it was -- I was thinking some kind of Val? But I dunno.... anyone know what it is? I bought it for 3.99 -- just trying to make sure I have it in the right tank (it's in the highlight w/ the Co2)

that looks like mondo grass. Sadly, those are non aquatic plants and will eventually die sooner or later.

you can bring it back and buy some plants from the members here.
i still can figure out y chain lfs sell it as a real aquarium plant.

having to move a non-aquatic plant out of there simply means you have an excuse to set up another tank as a paludarium! lol.
