T TONO AC Members Jan 5, 2005 310 0 0 39 Feb 9, 2005 #11 Iam using one 18000k actinic bulb and it just causes algea problems, I am going to get rid of it soon. It doesn't do much for the colors of freshwater fish either, Just go with 6500k imo.
