i just got a 12gal nano from a MFKer !!! now i can be special and have fish in dorm in college

but a lil problem.... i only got the tank, now i gotta fill it up!!!
Plants is what i need

i was hoping the light was 10k , but it turned out its 10k+ actinic ... so :| not so ideal for plants, but thats alright

can someone come up with a plant package that will go well with that light , and without co2 ??? ( for like $25bux shipped) even moss on wood would be cool : )

and also, i need substrate too... if u have both , awesome!!!

hmmm java fern and water sprite is cool . but i sorta wanna avoid java moss and guppy grass cuz don't they get pretty messy like a blob? so maybe something more leafy . or i guess other moss are cool too.

ur link's picture doesnt work and i really dont know the stats of any of those plants, but can i get enough of a variety of different color shapes plants and moss ( that is suitable to my light 10k+actinic) to make my 12gal nano look full for $25shipped ?
* and what low-budget substrate would u recommend me to get?

BTW, I use GARDEN SOIL bought from Home Depot as substrate, covered with some gravel. The plants grow like crazy! I went on vacation for a week, and then my Angelfish had no space to move around in the "FOREST".
