Do you place bigger plants all the way in the back of the tank or keep them in the center?

Why I ask is I have them in the center right now and they are swimming all around the whole tank.. But they seem to spend more time in the back of the tank.. Where I can't see them.. Km

When you say that they are swimming all around the tank you mean the fish, right? They swim where they want to. As far as the plants go the general rule is that the taller plants go in the back the shorter ones in the front. It is also nice to have some middle ground plants as well.

it doesnt matter much where you put them. its more up to you. if you want to see your fish swimming more the big plant to the back so they cant swim behind it. i have tall vals going around the back and the sides. its all up to how you want it to look.
