Like the title says, the heater in my 5.5g sticks out like a sore thumb and is ugly. :p Any suggestions on a plant that grows to about 10" high and not very wide (as it will be between the tank side on the left and a piece of driftwood on the right)? Substrate is gravel with low light. Thanks. :)

Is it possible to bury it in the gravel?

That might work.

If not, then ahow about annacharis or something? They grow pretty big and enough will the heater.

I second the anacharis suggestion. It's easy to grow, it grows fairly fast, and it's cheap. Plus, it's a fairly beneficial plant to have in the tank because it absorbs nitrates and excretes an antibiotic that inhibits blue/green algae.

I looked up anacharis and they look perfect since they're narrow. Thanks for the suggestions. :) Hopefully a LFS has 'em. I'm open to more suggestions in case they don't. :p

Egeria Densa aka "Anacharis" is good for a medium light tank.

Otherwise buy a plastic plant.
