What does it mean when my plants start becoming like see through are they dead?

plants are not getting the fertilizer they need.

what size of tank do you have?
what kind of lighting do you have and how many watts?
what kind of plants do you have?

Its a 10 gallon with a ****load of plants in it and it has to 15 watt tropical sun 5500k lights shining on it.

what kind of plants. Swords need regular trimming of leaves that turn yellow, brown, thin, or see through Other paltns as well. Identify your plants that are problematic.

It sounds like they aren't getting enough nutrients or light. What substrate do you have? What ferts do you add?

The one in the middle is the plant Im not quit sure what kind it is. As you can see to the right one of the leaves is becoming see through.

Before we go any further, take a pair of scissors and remove all the leaves that you can see through. They are dead.

How does the rest of the plant look?

I think the whole plant is dead.

Could you post a picture of the whole thing? It is hard to guess what it is.
