Plant weights?

Any idea where I might buy some safe plant weights for hornworn or java fern?

Any DYI suggestions?

Also need some Hornwort and/or Java Fern

i was told they can be lead since lead doesnt affect fish. im not sure how true it is, but i have been using lead weights with my shrimp and fish for months without any problems. so steel or lead weights both work as far as i know.

you can find them at your local fish shop.they look like strips of metal.

Thanks everyone for taking time to reply. I've heard mixed things about lead. Given that many folks claim no issues with lead weights, I'm guessing perhaps those who had problems may have had other issues. Maybe?

I've had no issues with lead weights.

we just used some old fishing line weights with fish line...what we had around the house...

and i dunno if i'm allowed to say this..but we just bought hornwort and java fern from msjinkzd...and it was a reasonable price...even after shipping

One of the problems with lead weights is that they don't give when something grows. thus the place on the plant where the weight is attached will root. If you have trouble finding weights come to me. I'll send you a few if you pay the postage.
