Check out prism bettas. They have some gorgeous bettas and have nice females. But keep the male and female separated cause they can’t be kept together.

I have to set up another tank, which would be my 10 gallon, in the garage on a shelf tank. Better take it out back and fill it first..lol!
May even make a sorority.
But right now, the 20 gallon high for a while.

I always believed a 20 gallon for a sorority, bigger place, more hiding spots if any fights.

A 20 long is best for a 5 female sorority tank, but aren’t for beginners, do a lot of research on them. Sororities need heavily planted tanks to break line of sight.

Now, regarding the betta not looking the same... your betta and the one in the photo are iridescent, so will reflect a slight different hue depending on lighting and angle. So very well could be the same fish, just differently seen in different lighting

Yep, I agree different lighting can make a big change. I think your betta is stunning!!
