Planted 29G- thoughts?

that snowball was a lucky hitchhiker! man, why cant i get hitchhiking plecos?!

i think youre being a bit modest. I think you should be the one telling us how to scape our tanks man. 55 looks insane! Im doing a 29 as well with just about 91 watts over it. Hoping for the best as I have some really tough plants coming (l aromatica; ammania gracilalis).

I think your plan for fish sounds good.

Thank you, everyone, for the very kind comments. I am hoping that in a few weeks time, I am able to re-create a nice little natural serene tank that I can set my tent up in front of, light a candle, and pretend I am on a riverbank. No pee-ing in the water, though!

I guess I will use this thread for my updates.

Updated Pics

It has been a little over a month since I set up my new 29G from my old 55G. Since then, I have been through a 2 week period of treating for ICH and lost no fish in the process. After comparing the pictures, I do see some plant growth! I also mail ordered some Nerite Snails and now have little Nerite Snail eggs ALL OVER the place! So, all in all, the move to a new and smaller tank didn't seem to be such a bad experience after all. And I cycled it with some old substrate and water from the 55G because I needed to put the fish somewhere.

I am thinking about covering a portion of the driftwood with Star Moss? Would that look nice in this tank?
