Planted 90 Gal. Tank BUILD

Yes that is a problem. I will have to see. I dont think they can though.

I am sure it will look nice when you get it done

Definitely. Hopefully this weekend I can pick up substrate and plants at Big Als.

PLANT STOCKING UPDATE

Here is my stocking list for plants (not to say I wont be adding others):
-Onion Plant
-Amazon Sword
-Pygmy Chain Sword
-Green Cabomba
-Anubius Nana

I am hoping to have an area up front made up of shallow sand where the pygmy chain sword will make a carpet. This will be seperated from a deeper area in the back by a wall of driftwood which will be open on one side allowing the sand on that side to gently slope down. On the driftwood there will be the anubias and in behind there will be the cabomba, Amazon sword, and onion plant. I will probably add others, perhaps crypts or something?

AFRICAN KNIFE ORDER

I have decided I will edit the first message in the thread so that you can see the point I am at without having to flip through tons of pages once this gets going. Anyway, I am now going to order an African knife for $10. :D

Maybe start a new thread and ask for this to be closed..you won't be able to edit the first post.

I'd be careful with the cabomba, I have it in my tank and there has to be almost no current. It's very fragile and breaks easy and gets it the filter. I have it. You need really good lighting and it takes a while to root.

Well I guess I can't do that. The Cabomba will be in the back where there is limited current.

NEW 10-Inch ROPE FISH

So today I purchased a rope fish for $15 :woot: . It was 10 inches long and is very active, inquistitive and it is already feeding. Below are some pics of the little beauty. :)
