I did some serious 'pruning' yesterday..
...may need to add a few plants back to the tank...

Still lovely! What is the name of the plant on the left side with the round leaves? I think I was thinking about getting one that looked like that.

(And I'm sure the single pic of the blue diamond was posted just for me.) :D

Thanks kveeti! (yes.. :) )

On the far left is a Banana plant.

That ain't pruning! That's a 'deserting'!

Did you remove a bunch of plant species? Have you ever had a ground cover?

What you have there Joe are growing beautiful discus with the foundation for a lush planted environment. But I agree with your assessment, maybe put a few more somethings in there. I myself prefer the lush look. But discus look good in bare bottom tanks too, so it is hard to go wrong.

I think the high fin blue diamond is my favorite too.

Your tank is nasty as always.
LOL --- I give credit for it looking "nasty" due to a UV sterilizer, R/O water, one too many canister filters, an air powered vacuum and of course, the Vortex XL diatom filter...

Ain't 'dark humor' fun..? Sarcasm too... :D

I'm re-planting some of the Vals... The Vals took over big time!

I'm lost on what to use as 'fore-ground' plants... The tank water is a warm 85 degrees, and the plants I've looked into don't like warm water.

Also, I just got a nice chunk of driftwood to add, but it still floats after a day of soaking.
