Planted Tank question

what is the ideal water temp for plants. Is there one or does it depend on the type of plant.
 
Well, I've kept my 55gal at 72-74 degrees F successfully. I would stick with the 70's, not too cold, not too warm. Some plants may be picky about their temp requirements, but you should be fine in that general temp range.
 
I have had my tank in the 90s and it never seemed to bother the plants.

It did bother the ich though...

Obviously that isn't ideal though. I would say that high 60s to mid 80s are probably fine for most plants.
