Planting Glosso that Didn't Come with Any Roots???

Well I once again made the mistake of ordering plants from an online dealer.

I ordered a bunch of glosso from AZGardens, but none of it came with roots. I ordered their "bunched" version (since I've learned to hate pots), thinking it would be basically the same thing but not in a pot. Well, instead I have a bunch of stems that looks like they were cut from vertically growing glosso.

Can I just plant the steams? Will they sprout roots? I don't even know what to do with this stuff.

Not happy, not happy at all. To make matters worse I didn't bother reading the ordering info and instead assumed that the price I was given when I checked out was the final price. Nope. Add another $50 for shipping :mad2:

Please tell me I can salvage this mess :help:

i think you should be ok planting the stems. besides, what other choice do you have. azgardens are A-holes! i placed an order from them before and them screwed me over completely.

the issue is I don't know what to plant. Do I just bury the stems horizontally? Do I plant them vertically (they're about 4 inches long) and then cut off the tops when roots form.....

bah

lol

i would plant them vertically. after that, the plant knows what way to grow, it'll head in the right direction

Do you use tweezers? You can try floating them until they root but they might grow emersed.

I plant the stems on wisteria plants all the time... so if they are at all similar in any way-- it will be fine
